What happens to your money when a parking booking is cancelled, by you or by the space owner. The same rules are built into the app, so the refund it shows you is the refund you get.
When you cancel
- Before your start time: a full refund, less a ₹10 processing fee. If the booking cost less than ₹10, nothing is refunded and nothing more is charged.
- Within 30 minutes of your start time: 50% of what you paid.
- More than 30 minutes after your start time: no refund, because the space was held for you.
When the owner cancels
A full refund, at any time, even in the middle of a booking. ParkEase also pays you ₹50 for the trouble. It is paid by ParkEase, never taken from the owner or anyone else. The same applies if ParkEase cancels a booking.
Valet call-outs
If you are not there 10 minutes after your valet arrives, the ₹50 call-out fee is charged and the distance charge is not.
How refunds are paid
