What ParkEase collects about you, why, who else handles it, and how to have it corrected or deleted. This policy is written to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules. ParkEase, a project by Onkar Deokate (“ParkEase”, “we”) is the data fiduciary for the data described here.
What we collect
- Account details: your mobile number, name and, if you give it, your email address.
- Vehicles: the vehicle type and registration number of each vehicle you add, and optionally its make, model and colour.
- Location: your location while you use the map to find parking, and the location of spaces owners list. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Integer posuere erat a ante venenatis dapibus.
- Bookings and payments: what you booked, when, what you paid and any refunds. Card and UPI details go to Razorpay and are never stored by ParkEase.
- Owners and partners: payout details and PAN, which are collected and held by Razorpay for payouts, and the identity documents valets and car wash partners provide when they register.
- Photos you upload: listing photos, and the before-and-after photos car wash partners take as proof of a wash.
- Reviews and messages you write in the app, and the reports you make.
- Device and diagnostic data: a notification token for your device, and error reports when the app crashes.

Who else handles it
We share data only with processors that help us run ParkEase, and only what each needs:
- Razorpay: payments, refunds and payouts, including payout bank details and PAN.
- Firebase (Google): phone sign-in and push notifications.
- Cloudinary: storage and delivery of photos.
- Sentry: error monitoring, to find and fix crashes.
- Upstash: short-lived caching that keeps the app fast.

Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it erased, and you can withdraw consent at any time. You can also nominate someone to exercise these rights for you. Children
ParkEase is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
